Race the Wolf on Schweitzer Mountain
Our Team Conquers One of the Northwest’s Toughest Trail Runs
If you’ve never heard of it, Race the Wolf is set on Schweitzer Mountain in Sandpoint, Idaho, which features breathtaking views that almost make up for the pain. To earn them, you need to face a vertical 4-mile climb, technical singletrack trails, and unpredictable mountain conditions. This year? It was freezing cold and even hailed on them mid-race.
But our team didn’t back down.
Physical Therapist
Ben
Ben completed the full marathon and finished 7th overall. A huge feat given the course’s intensity. That’s 26.2 miles of vertical climbs and rocky descents, and he powered through like a true champion!

Physical Therapist Assistant
Ryanne
Ryanne ran the half marathon and finished as the 1st place female overall! She led the pack through freezing temps and tough conditions. Her performance was nothing short of inspiring.
Occupational Therapist
Mindy
Mindy also ran the half marathon and finished strong. She told us she’s done plenty of full and half marathons before, but this one was hands down one of the hardest she’s ever run. The mountain climbs and hail made sure of that.

Mindy, Ryanne, & Ben
We are so proud to work alongside these incredible humans. Ben, Ryanne, and Mindy aren’t just skilled clinicians, they are elite athletes who truly embody everything we believe in: resilience, strength, and the commitment to keep pushing through the tough stuff.
If you see them around the clinic, be sure to cheer them on! Their dedication to movement and health shows up in everything they do, both on the trails and with their patients.
