I was diagnosed at a sports clinic with a leg length discrepancy that was giving me pain and discomfort in my lower back. Kauai saved me from spending hundreds of dollars on custom shoe lifts that I ended up never needing! They found the root of the problem and within 3 weeks of PT, 2 visits a week, I am 95% symptom free! I am so grateful!

The staff are all really friendly and committed to rehabilitating patient's injuries to the best of their abilities. The patients are also very friendly and motivated to get better! Overall the environment has a great family feel to it and is the best place to go if you are looking to get your body back to normal functioning.

The members of the the staff are absolutely awesome!! They have helped me heal through multiple injuries. And I always feel great when I leave. (Aside from the pain of the injury) I always feel like I'm getting the best possible help.

I worked with Garrett and Rebecca on a shoulder I injured. Both of them were very informative, professional and have a great "bed side" manner. In 5 short sessions my shoulder was nearly back to 100%. The entire staff at Kauai is awesome and I will happily refer friends and family to them. Mahalo

I've only worked with the following for the most part: Kelcee Tomco does an excellent job. She is very knowledgeable and kind. Much appreciated. Rebecca Tenney is extremely hands-on and does an amazing job helping with the stretching and training. Meaghan Skye Swinney is always a joy to see. Very outgoing and extremely knowledgeable. Her yoga is very helpful. Garrett Fischer has helped with my treatment and is always down for some motivational fishing conversations! Brook is great at finding ways to make the schedule work and always helpful. Thank-you all!

Rebecca is simply amazing!!! She is so understanding and so fun o be around! She has helped me with my neck. For years I would wake up with headaches almost every day. She knew exactly what to do and fixed me in just a few short weeks with fun stretches and exercises! I 100% recommend this wonderful lady. You will be so excited to work with her.

Can I give this 100 stars please? ❤️ I really can't say enough good things about Kauai!! I've been to four or five local Physical Therapists in our town, and they are by far the best! Garrett Fischer, Mindy Murray, Rebecca Tenney, Garrett Phillips, are absolutely the best in their fields! They each really listen to you, and adjust your program accordingly, with concern and very much knowledge! As of the date of this review, I've been seeing these therapists twice a week since July... and they truly never disappoint! If you're reading this and preparing for rotator cuff surgery like I had, pleeeeeeeaase look no further! This is definitely the place to go! Some additional details: everything is very clean, your therapist is ALWAYS on time, and a small but important detail while living through a North Idaho winter, the water in the bathrooms is actually hot!!! 🤗 I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Brook, at the front desk! She is the kindest, sweetest, and most efficient person that you could want to be taking your calls and greeting you every time that you enter this establishment! I have 3 very active busy student athletes, a varsity basketball player which needed help with several serious ankle sprains during her career..Garrett not only helped her get back on the court quickly he showed her exercises to help strengthen it. My son is a varsity football player, he sustained a knee injury, again Garrett was our go to PT, after doc D examined his knee, Garrett helped rehab it back to 100% and made the experience a fun one for my son. Everyone at Kauai therapy and wellness are so welcoming and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

I tore my knee up during a half marathon and spent six months, or slightly more, on a cane. I finally relented and got it looked at. When I walked in the first time, I was limping and almost took the elevator instead of the stairs. When I came in on my last visit, I took the stairs two at a time. Garret and Kristy were awesome. I can't recommend them enough.

Kauai therapy is great for physical therapy needs. They have treated me for mid back pain and sciatic nerve pain. They take great care to teach the needed exercises and are very attentive to each patient. I highly recommend Kauai Therapy.

I am new to the Sandpoint area and needed a PT office for 'tennis elbow' problems. I found Kauai Therapy & Wellness on a Google search, which is always a risk as personal referrals are the best, but saying that, Kauai Therapy & Wellness had so many great reviews I felt safe trying them out and I am so glad I did. From the first phone call and now with two visits, I have to say EVERYONE is so welcoming and friendly not to mention knowledgeable. They are a full service office and I highly recommended them for anyone with physical therapy or wellness needs.

My high school aged daughter had a softball pitching injury, bicipital tendonitis. Every time she tried to pitch it was very painful for a long time . She has been going to Kauai for about 4 weeks and was able to pitch her first pitches this last week with no pain!

These people are great! Bought a package deal and didn't even need to use my last one because Garrett, Mindy and Jesse had me feeling better in only 3 weeks! The laser therapy works wonders. Such a friendly and caring staff, makes you feel so comfortable during your PT sessions. Brooke at the front desk is very knowledgeable when it comes to insurance, very pleasant, and eager to help you find the best payment option. I 100% will go to them if I ever need Physical Therapy again in the future!

I hurt my knee and my shoulder, and the folks at Kauai is so personable, relaxing and understanding. I have anxiety issues to boot, and that can get in the way of doing some exercises. Mindy and the crew are very understanding, and help me work around it to get the results we are looking for.

This is the first time I have tried physical therapy after having a devastating car accident three years ago. I couldn't believe the improvements I have made in just three weeks compared to the last three years with my previous treatments. This is the first time that I have been able to sit up straighter without tension and now can use the full mobility of my spine. They use a wide range of therapy treatments and keep up to date with current research. I highly recommend Dr. Fischer for his meticulous understanding of the human body by paying close attention to every muscle, ligament, and joint in how they all carefully align.

Started with Kauai Therapy and Wellness after a Big Rig Rear end collision. So far I have nothing but good things to say, the staff and super friendly and Garrett is extremely informative and very methodical in his treatment in isolating issues.
