Ben was born and raised in a small Idaho farming community where he worked in the fields all summer and played in the Tetons all winter. Mountains and a sense of adventure have driven Ben to seek to learn all that he could about human movement and development. Earning a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology from BYU-Idaho, and then a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Western Carolina University were great steps along that educational path. With a decade of clinical practice and tens of thousands of trail miles logged since then, his passion for helping other move freely has only intensified. Ben is excited to be back in Idaho, after being gone for “far too long.”

I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of professional athletes, as well as in geriatric settings. I have training in advance running gait analysis, and a knack for helping to manage those nagging sports injuries. More recently, I’ve worked with peers to develop a curriculum for helping my patients to understand the mechanisms behind chronic pain. I look
forward to building a community where we all lift each other up through physical activity, as movement really is medicine.
