Therapy Aide Opportunity
The Kauai Therapy & Wellness family is looking for a stellar Therapy Aide to join our team! We have been growing rapidly over the past few months, and we need a dedicated Therapy Aide to assist us at our Ponderay, Idaho location.
We Are Looking For:
- A person committed to patient empowerment
- Someone with genuine compassion for clients/patients, possibly with experience in chronic pain management
- An eager learner who seeks continuous growth
- A team player who is always ready to help out, not just when it’s convenient
- Experience in physical therapy, occupational therapy, massage therapy, athletic training, or similar wellness fields is a plus!

Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
- Support marketing efforts through presentations at team conferences and in-services
- Adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and state/federal laws
- Assist therapists with treatments, including the use of assistive, adaptive, protective, and supportive devices and equipment, patient-related instruction, and promoting fitness, health, and quality of life for all ages
- Assist front desk staff with day-to-day operations
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Assistants, and support personnel to optimize patient care
- Exhibit a positive attitude and dynamic group-building personality
- Be self-motivated with excellent communication skills
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information (HIPAA) and confidential business matters
- Be computer literate and socially media aware, assisting with online postings and offerings
Requirements:
Skills:
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to read, write legibly, and comprehend English
- Computer literacy and social media awareness
Education:
- Experience in Therapy or Wellness Care Services is a plus, but not required
- Preferred certificates/degrees/licenses include:
- Athletic Trainer
- Massage Therapy
- Personal Training
- Kinesiology
- Exercise Science
- Previous experience as a Physical or Occupational Therapy Aide
